You can also stop at the Farm to visit the goat farm which produces and sells the famous Sainte Maure cheese.

The restaurant La Promenade, an internationally renowned gourmet restaurant run by Chef Dallais, is located in Petit-Pressigny, less than 1 km from the Château.
There are also many fine restaurants and inns in the area.

You may want to spend a day at the Futuroscope Park, which is a great success and is only an hour's drive from the château.
The Beauval Zoo, one of the most beautiful in France, is about 50 minutes away.
A dozen kilometres from the château, the Parc Animalier de la Haute Touche, in the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional de la Brenne, is also a great favourite with children.
